Well, it has been one week since little Lane arrived! It has been a week full of adjustments and lack of sleep! I don't sleep very soundly listening for any sound he might make. Lane has ended up in bed with me every night since he's been home. You can't spoil them when they're this little, right?
We have had lots of visitors and lots of help which has been very nice. Justin had to go back to work on Monday. He was not very happy about it at all and neither was I. He has been working long hours and is never sure when he'll get home. Hopefully corn harvest will come to an end soon so he can spend more time with Lane.
Grandpa Ted stopped out on Wednesday night before he went on his pheasant hunting trip. Lane was wide awake when he got here and smiled and smiled at him! It was adorable. I managed to snap a picture...he looks pretty content!
Lane got this truck from my aunt and uncle. We decided to put him in the bed of it last night to see if he would fit. He has lots of room to spare!! He slept and slept while I took a bunch of pictures. Ah, the life of a baby!
