Following in Emilie and Jodi's footsteps, I too have joined the blogging trend! I figured since not all of our family and friends live in close proximity to us, this would be a good way to update everyone on what is happening with us, and most importantly our impending arrival!
So, here's the scoop on what is happening this week:
*Justin is working hard trying to combine corn between the snow and the rain and the cold! Hopefully I won't have to drag him out of the grain cart when I go into labor! He spent last night putting plastic on our upstairs windows and rearranging the baby's room. He's so good about doing those things in preparation for baby! I really appreciate it!
*I am still performing the duties of an incubator. I will be 36 weeks tomorrow, so only 4 weeks to go! Ahh!! I've been dialated to 2 since week 33 and as of last week, was 75% effaced. My doctor instructed me to pack a bag...he doesn't think I'll make it to my due date. He'd better be right!! I am feeling good for the most part, but getting a bit uncomfortable and finding sleep difficult! My next appointment is Tuesday, November 18th, so we'll see if I've progressed anymore then. I have my sub information mostly together, so I should be set to go!
*Baby Rizz is doing his or her thing! S/he spends most of the day practicing karate on my ribcage. I've noticed a pattern of s/he being really active during the day and not as active at night. Hopefully this trend continues after birth!!
Well, that's what's happening with us in a nutshell (Help! I'm in a nutshell!!). Stay tuned...
