We spent this past weekend at the Risovi farm. It had been a month since Grandma Joleen and Grandpa Wayne had seen Lane. They sure thought he had changed!! Lane spent Saturday with the girls shopping in Minot. Mom and grandma found quite a few things for him! It helped that I had a 30% off coupon for Old Navy...I made sure I used it...TWICE! I couldn't resist buying him his first baseball cap. I'd say he looks pretty cute! He was such a good boy the entire day and only got tired of being in his car seat (in his stroller) toward the end of the day. I carried him through Herberger's, and boy do my arms hurt today!! He's a heavy boy at 16 lbs.!!
Great-aunt Judy, Great-uncle Doug, and cousins Gail & Wyatt came out to visit on Sunday. They had not seen Lane since Christmas, so they sure thought he had grown! Daddy spent most of Sunday in the barn vaccinating calfs, so we did not get on the road for home until after 7. Needless to say, mom was not happy!
Lane has his 4 month appointment on March 24th, so I am anxious to see what he weighs and how long he is. We've had to go up to 9 month sleepers since his legs are so long and his feet are so big! I wonder where he gets that from?
April 12th is a big 90th birthday celebration for Great-Grandma Thelma in Sheyenne, ND. I went online and ordered Lane an outfit for the birthday party and for Easter church. What do you think?

I think he's going to look like quite the handsome devil!!

It is fun to compare Lane the Newborn with Lane in the baseball cap! He sure is a cutie!
